Windows Mail and Metadata

Hi,
Well
all going well until... I see in Windows Mail, "refreshing metadata" in the bottom right corner of the program. It seems to be taking tonnes of processor and not only making everything a lil slower., but its taking a while too!
any ideas?

Perhaps it just needed a good night's sleep after all the hard work.
